Writer Steve Martin

Steve Martin has worked in education since the 1980s and has a wide experience of different educational settings. His experience includes teaching school children, college students, youth offenders, adult prisoners, travellers, adult education classes, jobseekers and foreign language students.

Steve is also a highly successful children’s author and has written numerous books aimed at primary and secondary age children. These include The Boys’ Book of Adventure, I Wish I Knew That, The Boys’ Back to School Book, Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy and Numberland. He has also recently published a young adults’ novel and is currently working on a book aimed at encouraging children to write short
stories.

Besides these publications, Steve has also written a number of educational works including English textbooks for the 7 – 11 age range and Key Stage 3 and GCSE English Literature support materials.
